The opposition has been continuously shouting slogans against the government in the current monsoon session and parliament is witnessing the same uproar every day. Rahul Gandhi has questioned the Central government on the Pegasus issue even on Wednesday. He had asked whether the Government had purchased Pegasus. He had said that the Centre has refused to raise the issue of Pegasus in the House.
Rahul Gandhi tweeted, "The foundation of our democracy is for MPs to become the voice of the people and discuss issues of national importance. The Modi government is not allowing the opposition to do it. Don't waste more time on Parliament- let's talk about price rise, farmers and pegasus!'' The opposition has alleged that the Government of India has purchased pegasus after some reports surfaced. The opposition even says that the government used Pegasus as a weapon against its own people. The opposition has been trying to corner the government since the first day of the monsoon session over the Pegasus issue. The House has been adjourned several times in two weeks amid the uproar.
