New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted the Modi government on the issue of inflation. Rahul Gandhi has alleged that the central government is pushing the people into the morass of inflation only for the sake of tax. A social media campaign is being run by the Congress party on the issue of inflation. In this sequence, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted that 'inflation is a curse. The central government is only pushing the people into the morass of inflation to earn tax.'
Rahul Gandhi also urged people to join this campaign, he wrote that 'Raise your voice against the destruction of the country, join the #SpeakUpAgainstPriceRise campaign.' Along with Rahul Gandhi, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor also tweeted on this issue. He wrote that the steps taken by the Modi government during his tenure have done the work of emptying the pockets of the common man. A list of the prices of many goods has also been shared on behalf of Congress on social media which shows the price difference between the year 2013 and the year 2021.
There has been a historic increase in the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG cylinders in the last few days. This is the reason why the central government is constantly on target. Petrol is being sold in Delhi at 91.17 and diesel at the rate of Rs 81.47 per liter. While the price of LPG cylinders also increased continuously in the past, after which the price of the cylinder has gone beyond 800.
