New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has hit out at the Modi government over GST on the corona vaccine. In fact, the Center is taking five percent GST from states on corona vaccine. This is what Rahul Gandhi has opposed. Earlier, the Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh governments have also opposed the imposition of GST on the vaccine.
The number of daily deaths due to corona is increasing in the country. 4,187 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours. This is the highest number of deaths caused by corona in 1 day so far. According to the Health Ministry, 4,01,078 people have been found to be infected with corona during 24 hours across the country. So far 21.8 million 92 thousand 676 people have been infected with corona. A day earlier, Rahul Gandhi had written to PM Modi saying that the government had no clear strategy for vaccination against corona. They have put India in a highly dangerous situation. He also said that due to the failure of the government, the country is once again on the verge of a national lockdown and immediate financial assistance should be provided to the poor so that they do not have to go through the same pain as last year.
This is his second letter to the Prime Minister within a month. He had earlier written to PM Modi on April 9 that everyone needed it for vaccination and called for an urgent ban on vaccine exports. If vaccination continues at the same pace, the economy will be adversely affected.
