New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has now tweeted against the delhi police's interrogation of Congress leader Srinivas, who has been in the political turmoil in the country over the past few days. At the same time, Congress has also launched a #IStandWithIYC campaign in support of Srinivas. Congress leader Srinivas, who came into the limelight by helping corona patients, was questioned by Delhi Police on Friday. The interrogation lasted for about 20 min. The inquiry is said to have been conducted by the Crime Branch of The Lily Police on the orders of the Delhi High Court.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted in support of Srinivas, "The rescuer is always bigger than the killer. He also wrote #IStandWithIYC hashtag. Earlier, senior Congress leader Randeep Surjewala had also tweeted his support to Srinivas. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said, "Stopping assisting Youth Congress President Srinivas with help is the dangerous face of the Modi government. Such a heinous act of revenge will not frighten us, nor will our emotions be broken. The resolve to serve will be more determined".

According to the same report, the inquiry was conducted in corona crisis for distributing necessary medical equipment such as injections and medicines to patients and their family members. Delhi Police has questioned several persons in the past in this connection. PulSi had also contacted Aam Aadmi Party MLA Dilip Pandey in the case and has also questioned Delhi BJP state spokesperson Harish Khurana.
