Congress stalwart Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Jammu & Kashmir for a two-day visit, starting tomorrow. According to the schedule, Rahul Gandhi will pay obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi temple on Thursday. After Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi, Rahul Gandhi will stay the night in Jammu. On Saturday, Rahul Gandhi will address party workers at a resort in Jammu and have lunch with the delegation of the local leaders. This will be Rahul Gandhi's second visit to Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370.

In a tweet said J&K BJP chief Ravinder Raina said, "Rahul Gandhi is most welcome in Jammu and Kashmir. Whenever and wherever Rahul Gandhi has visited, it has led to the debacle of the Congress and strengthening of the BJP,"

Rahul Gandhi's visit to Jammu coincides with the Narendra Modi government's mega outreach programme in the union territory. Meanwhile, the BJP took a taunt at the Congress and said Rahul Gandhi's visit would only strengthen the saffron party in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier, he visited the union territory on August 9. During his last visit, Rahul Gandhi inaugurated the new party office in Srinagar. He also visited Kheer Bhawani temple and Hazrat Dargah Sharif.
