New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has once again made a big statement about the farmers' movement, saying that accepting anything less than the complete repeal of agricultural laws would be like a betrayal of farmers. Rahul said this in view of the talks between the farmers' leaders and the Central government on Thursday.
Rahul Gandhi, MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala, said that the black laws related to agriculture should be completely repealed by the government. He tweeted from his Twitter handle, writing, 'Accepting anything less than the complete repeal of black agricultural laws would be a betrayal of India and its farmers.' The National General Secretary of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also tweeted about the peasant movement.
Priyanka wrote in her tweet, 'The ministers and leaders of the BJP government have called the farmers a traitor, they have told the international conspiracy behind this movement.' They have also said that the farmers who do the agitation do not appear to be farmers. But in the conversation today, the government will have to listen to the farmers. The farmers will be at the centre of the law and not the billionaire friend of the BJP.
काले कृषि कानूनों को पूर्ण रूप से रद्द करने से कम कुछ भी स्वीकार करना भारत और उसके किसानों के साथ विश्वासघात होगा।
