New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has given his opinion on the retaliation of US President Donald Trump regarding medicines. Rahul Gandhi has said,"Friendship isn’t about retaliation." US President Donald Trump has said that he would be surprised if India does not allow the US to export hydroxychloroquine despite the request. Which can also have an impact on Indo-US relations.

In fact, last week Trump said that he had sought help from PM Modi to allow India to sell hydroxychloroquine in the US. Hours before this, India had banned the export of this malaria drug. Rahul Gandhi tweeted and wrote that, "Friendship is not for retaliation. India should help all countries in difficult times, but life saving medicines should be present in sufficient quantity for Indians.

The drug has been allowed to be used in the US to treat coronavirus infection among a growing number of patients. Let us tell you that more than 10,000 American people have lost their lives in Coronavirus so far and more than 3.6 lakh are infected. The drug hydroxychloroquine used in the treatment of malaria is being used in the treatment of coronavirus infection.
