New Delhi: The stock market has reached a record-breaking high on the steps taken by the central government on the economic front. But Rahul Gandhi, former National President of Congress and MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, has expressed strong objection to the decisions of the government. Rahul Gandhi wrote that PM Modi is ready to do anything for the stock market boom, that too when his #HowdyIndianEconomy celebration is going on.

In this tweet, Rahul Gandhi also took a dig at the Howdy Modi program to be held in the US and linked the revenue deficit of 1.45 lakh crore from the government to 'Howdy Modi'. Rahul has written that Howdy Modi program is going to be the most expensive event in the world. The Congress leader wrote that, but no event can hide this truth, where a program like Howdy Modi has taken over the Indian economy.

On the one hand, Rahul Gandhi has raised questions on this decision, on the other hand, PM Modi has termed these decisions as historic. The PM tweeted and praised the Finance Minister for these decisions. It is noteworthy that the announcements made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday include decisions like exemption in corporate tax, reduction in surcharge of capitol gains. However, after these decisions, the government will incur a burden of Rs 1.45 lakh crore on revenue deficit.
