New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today introduced the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill in the Lok Sabha. The house is debating the bill. Meanwhile, former Congress President and MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat Rahul Gandhi has reacted to the removal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Rahul Gandhi's tweet comes at a time when several young party leaders are supporting the central government's decision.

In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi said, "National integration isn’t furthered by unilaterally tearing apart J&K, imprisoning elected representatives and violating our Constitution. This nation is made by its people, not plots of land. This abuse of executive power has grave implications for our national security."

Earlier, initiating a discussion on the bill in the Lok Sabha, Home Minister Amit Shah said that Jammu and Kashmir is an arrogant part of India. Amit Shah further said that Parliament has every right to legislate on Jammu and Kashmir. Section 370 in the Congress rule was amended twice. Amit Shah also said that whenever he talks about Jammu and Kashmir, it includes PoK and Aksai China is also an integral part of India.
