New Delhi: Describing the brutality of Dalit youths in Rajasthan's Nagaur district, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi has asked the state government to take strict action on this, calling it horrific and disgusting. In Nagaur, a Dalit youth was beaten up badly in a case of theft and petrol was put in his private part. The video of this incident is becoming fiercely viral on social media.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted today on the matter and wrote, 'Video of cruelty with 2 Dalit youth from Nagaur has come out, it is frightening and disgusting. I urge the state government to take immediate action to bring justice to the victims of this shocking crime. After the video went viral, the police arrested 5 accused. The incident is being reported on 16 February.

On February 19, a case has been registered in Panchodi police station regarding this incident. According to the victims, they were being threatened with death. Due to fear, they were not able to register the case. Somehow, on Wednesday, the victims registered a case at Panchodi police station after showing courage, after which the police took action and arrested the accused.
