Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra resumes from Vijaypur in Samba

SAMBA: Samba: The Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, resumed from Vijaypur in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir under heightened security following recent twin bombings on the outskirts of Jammu City. The yatra is making its way to Jammu's Sidhra.

At 12 PM in Gurudwara Ashok Nagar, close to Satwari Chowk in Jammu, the foot leg march will take a rest. The Congress yatra will stop in Sidhra for the night.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra Sunday began on Sunday at Hiranagar Morh in the Kathua region of Jammu and Kashmir and ended at Chak Nanak hamlet within the district after a day's respite.

Earlier Rahul Gandhi,  expressed his happiness on reaching Jammu for the final leg of his Bharat Jodo Yatra.

"It gives me great pleasure to return to my home, where my forefathers had their origins, and to be in Jammu and Kashmir. I am learning more about myself, each state, and my country "the Hindi-language tweet from the Congress leader.

In the light of the Bharat Jodo Yatra entering Jammu, the Jammu and Kashmir Police authorities have also announced to ensure all the possible security arrangements.
