New Delhi [India], Dec 23 (NT): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday took a jibe at the saffron Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said if the party would have a film franchise it would be named 'Lie Hard'.

Rahul Gandhi on his tweeter handle posted a jibe

"If BJP had a film franchise it would be called Lie Hard #BJPLieHard #BJPLies #HowManyBJPLies," Gandhi Tweeted.

For this moment, Rahul is likely to visit Gujarat's Somnath temple today ahead of an evaluation meeting with newly-elected MLAs and party workers following Gujarat assembly polls outcomes.

After his Somnath Temple visit on November 29, a controversy hit the roof of politics after Rahul's name along with senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel was allegedly pointed out as non-Hindus in the visitor book of the temple.

In his visit, Gandhi is likely to meet elected MLAs, party candidates who mislaid and and all district- and state-level party office-bearers. He is also planned to meet zonal teams from Saurashtra and Kutch, South Gujarat, North Gujarat, and Central Gujarat, as per the reports of The Times of India . Rahul is also likely to present a party workers sammelan at Gujarat University Convention Hall in Ahmedabad.

Throughout Rahul’s visit, the Congress president is also planned to talk about the report that would be submitted by the state leaders on the party's sixth consecutive crush in the Gujarat Polls.

Congress party will also apparently made a decision on who would be the leader of the opposition and the head fluff up in the state. Consideration of changes in the party organization will also hold, TOI informed.

The results of the Gujarat Assembly polls announced earlier this week brought some cheer to the Congress as the party put up a strong fight in the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah.

Assembly polls will also be carried out early next year in Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Tripura.(NT)
