In the meantime, railways have launched a new initiative to protect people from any kind of virus while traveling in trains. Railways have developed a special type of wireless UV device which will digitize the entire bogie in just two and a half minutes. Railways have claimed that the use of this device will prevent coronavirus in the coming days.

The same UV light is generally harmful to the general public. Because this technology runs on UV light, it uses robots. As long as the robot disinfects the bogie, there will be no one in that bogie to avoid the side effects of any harmful rays emanating from the machine.

What is this technique?
Surgical instruments are usually cleaned with UV light in operation theatres. The same UV light has been used here. It takes 40 to 45 minutes to sanitize twenty coaches of the entire rack. At present, it has been introduced experimentally by the Railways in the Delhi Lucknow Centenary. While it is going to start soon in the Kalka century. According to Deepak Kumar, spokesperson of Northern Railway, it will be used in more and more trains in the coming days.
