In his statement, Yadav said that only domestic companies are allowed to participate in railway projects. The board chairman said that in the last 2-3 years, the Railways has taken several measures to reduce the import of equipment from abroad. We have adopted the policy of Make in India. For example, in the signal system, railways have made it mandatory to have at least 70% equipment with Make in India. Our effort is that the railway will become an exporter in the coming days.

The company got a contract worth Rs 471 crore for work in 473 km between Kanpur to Mughalsarai. The company has been able to operate only 20% in four years.
