New Delhi: Indian Railways to operate Ayodhya to Janakpur ‘Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train from 17 February 2023.

According to a statement from the Ministry, the pilgrimage sites of Ayodhya and Janakpur in the neighboring nations of India and Nepal were covered by the tourist train on a highly special journey called "Shri Ram-Janaki Yatra: Ayodhya to Janakpur."

It stated that the project would "strengthen the bilateral connections and also foster the cultural relations between the two countries" and that the train will leave from Delhi.

The tourist train will include the visit of Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Kashi and Prayagraj as special attractions in the tour.
Two nights will be spent in hotels, one in Janakpur and the other in Varanasi. The daytime stopover will cover the visits to Ayodhya, Sitamarhi, and Prayagraj.

Two excellent dining establishments, a contemporary kitchen, coach-level shower cubicles, sensor-based bathroom facilities, and foot massagers are just a few of the amazing amenities offered by the State of Art Deluxe AC Tourist Train. The fully air-conditioned train provides multiple accommodation , that is... first AC and Second AC.

The train is equipped with an infotainment system throughout and has upgraded security elements like CCTV cameras and security guards for each coach.

The government of India's programme "Dekho Apna Desh" to boost domestic tourism is in line with the inauguration of the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train.

According to the Ministry, the pricing will comprise a seven-day all-inclusive trip package that includes a train journey in the appropriate class, one night of lodging in an air-conditioned hotel, all meals (VEG ONLY), all transfers and sightseeing by bus, travel insurance, and guide services.

Users can avail the EMI payment option for making payment in 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 or 24 month EMIs.
