Railways start 40 special trains for students appearing for JEE-NEET exams

New has come about the joint entrance exam held amid the coronavirus. During the JEE Mains examination starting on 1st September, proper arrangements have been done at exam centres. The candidates appeared in queues with masks, taking care of the distance. The JEE Mains Entrance Examination has been scheduled between 1 to 6 September in the entire country. The governments of many states have arranged facilities at different levels for the candidates.

During this time, the Railways has also taken many decisions in view of the problems of the candidates. Now recently in Bihar also the Railways has decided to run a special train to take the candidates to the examination centre. On Tuesday, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted, "Indian Railways has added 20 MEMU / DEMU specials from September 2 to 15 to facilitate the candidates joining JEE Mains, NEET and NDA in Bihar to go to the examination centre. It has been decided to run the train". Along with this, Goyal has also shared the list of 40 trains.

Before this, Piyush Goyal has given a green signal to travel by trains for the candidates in Mumbai. On Monday, he had said that "Railways has allowed the students and their parents going to appear for NEET and JEE exams,  to travel through special suburban services in Mumbai on exam day. Normal passengers are requested not to travel".
