In Jharkhand, the continuous rains for two days have flooded the three cities of Kolhan East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Wednesday. The most devastation has occurred in West Singhbhum.

In the morning the river water started flowing on the bridge situated between Chandipos of Sonuva and Jhagaon of Sonuva-Goilkera main road, which has hindered the movement of vehicles. The iron culvert was submerged near the main road from Guwa to Barajamda. People's houses were also flooded along with roads. Trains stopped completely. Ration got carried away in the water.

Apart from this, water is flowing above the bridge on the Mazgaon-Benisagar road of Chaibasa. The fields have been submerged. The water of the Ili river has come over the bridge in Choya village of Jhinkpani.

Shivcharan Gop's house collapsed in Panga Panchayat of Manjhari Block. Many areas of Seraikela-Kharsawan district are also full of water. In Jamshedpur where water was flooded on NH 33. Several low-lying areas, including Bagbheda, were flooded. At the same time, several acres of paddy crop was destroyed in Purvanchal area of Behragowda. Many rough roads were washed away. Water has entered many villages. The check dam near Khandamoda is broken. It is raining heavily at the moment. If the situation prevails, the water of the Swarnarekha river will also enter Pitreshwar and there will be a flood situation.
