Several states in north India are all set to change the weather once again. In fact, cold wave conditions are continuing in many States including the capital Delhi. The Met department has recently informed that rain, hailstorm and severe cold conditions are likely to occur in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan from January 22. Let me tell all of you that apart from Delhi, the cold wave conditions in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar are in a bad shape. On the other hand, rajasthan is also experiencing severe cold wave conditions. The Meteorological Department has recently reported that an 'orange alert' has been issued in 19 districts of Madhya Pradesh amid forecast of thunderstorm, hailstorm and rain.

At the same time, IMD has also issued a yellow alert of moderate and dense fog at different places in Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Niwari, Chhatarpur and Tikamgarh districts. Senior meteorologist PK Saha at the Bhopal office in IMD said, "The cyclonic circulation is over Central Madhya Pradesh, while another cyclonic circulation is over South Pakistan and adjoining southwest Rajasthan. This has maintained moisture in Madhya Pradesh. Talking about kashmir valley, people are now relieved of the cold amidst incessant snowfall. The minimum temperature has been recorded below zero at Gulmarg and Pahalgam tourist spots.

According to met department, most parts of the valley recorded above normal night temperature. Let me tell you that 2 in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The temperature was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius, which is 2 as compared to the previous night. It was 2 degrees higher. In North Kashmir, the minimum temperature was minus 7 at gulmarg, a famous skating resort in Baramulla district. It was recorded below 5 degrees Celsius. The IMD says the sky will be cloudy and rain is likely due to western disturbances in Delhi. Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and UP will experience strong winds today and tomorrow. With this, rain and snowfall are likely to occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal and Uttarakhand till January 24. The Met department forecast that most parts of Bihar, Bengal, Jharkhand and Sikkim are likely to receive rain till January 24. Thunderstorms are also likely to occur by January 23 and hailstorms may also occur at some places.
