Snowfall in North India increases cold, temperature fall in Delhi

New Delhi: The weather has turned again due to heavy rains and winds in many states including Delhi-NCR. According to the Meteorological Department, similar weather is likely to persist for the next four-five days. At the same time, the temperature has declined due to rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir. Heavy rains have also increased the cold in Uttarakhand. Due to rain in Punjab, farmers have been instructed not to water the wheat crop for the next two days, as well as not to spray pesticides on crops.

In fact, the heavy rains and winds in Delhi-NCR on Thursday increased the cold. Several areas including Lodhi Road, Sansad Marg, RK Puram in Delhi received heavy rains, which changed the course of the weather. This has also affected the flights of aircraft. The Meteorological Department had been anticipating heavy rain for several days. At the same time, several flights have been affected due to heavy rains in Delhi-NCR. Air India-687 and 701 have been diverted to Jaipur. At the same time, three flights of Air India have been stopped in Delhi itself.

Hundreds of passengers traveling by air from Srinagar to various parts of the country could not get relief even on sixth day Thursday. 27 flights from Srinagar International Airport had to be canceled due to rain and low visibility, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded. Rainfall in most of the plains of Jammu and Kashmir coupled with snowfall in the mountainous regions led to a drop in temperature.
