Bhopal: Rain continues in Madhya Pradesh. Due to the last 24 hours, rain occurred at most places in the districts of Jabalpur, Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain and Narmadapuram divisions while several places in Gwalior, Chambal and Shahdol divisions received rainfall. Rain was recorded at some places in the districts of the Sagar division. The weather remained dry in the districts of the Rewa division. Due to the last 24 hours, Barghat Seoni Malwa recorded the highest rainfall of 19 cm. According to the MET department, Kareli 15, Seoni 12, Katangi, Kalapipal, Ghoddogri, Kurrai, Harrai, and Pichor Shyampur recorded 11 cm rainfall, Timarni, Pushprajgarh, Panchmarhi 10 cm. The weather in Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand has not been very pleasant so far.

At the same time, the Met Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in the cities of the Narmadapuram division. An orange alert has been issued by the MET department for Narmadapuram, Harda and Betul districts. Heavy rainfall has also been predicted in the districts of Bhopal and Ujjain divisions of Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Dhar, Indore, Guna, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat and Sagar. A yellow alert has been issued for these districts.

Alert issued for a total of 14 districts:-
The MET department has issued an alert for a total of 14 cities. Out of this, an orange alert has been issued for Narmadapuram, Harda and Betul districts. This means that these cities are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall. A yellow alert has been issued for Bhopal, Raisen, Rajgarh, Sehore, Vidisha, Ujjain, Dewas, Agar-Malwa, Shajapur, Ratlam, Mandsaur and Neemuch. Heavy rainfall has been predicted in these districts.
