Mumbai Police has already registered its chargesheet against Raj Kundra, a well-known businessman who is accused of making and selling obscene films. Actress Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra has approached a Mumbai magistrate's court as soon as he files a police chargesheet. Raj Kundra has filed a bail application in the magistrate's court. The businessman has appealed to the court to grant the bail application as the Mumbai Police has now filed its chargesheet and the court can now release him.

Let me tell you that the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has filed a chargesheet against four persons including Raj Kundra, who are convicted in the pornography case. After the chargesheet was filed, Raj Kundra filed his deposit application claiming that the chargesheet had been filed. It is evident that the investigation against him has been completed, so he can now come out on bail.

Raj Kundra has claimed that he took the decision after 8 out of 9 persons registered in the chargesheet got bail from the court. Kundra has now sought bail citing equality with the co-accused through an application filed by advocate Prashant Patil.
