Pune: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray is holding a rally in Pune today. However, ahead of Raj Thackeray's rally, the police issued several guidelines. In fact, the guidelines issued by the Swargate police station say that "Raj Thackeray has been asked to take care during the speech that no community is insulted." There should be no hatred among people.
Raj Thackeray has been constantly in the news for the past one month for Azaan and loudspeaker. His activists had played Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers during Ramzan at many places. On the other hand, a release issued by the police said, "These guidelines should be followed by the organizers of the MNS rally. The participants of the rally should not make a speech that would offend any community or create tension between communities. Citizens participating in the rally should follow self-discipline. The organizers should ensure that the people participating in the rally do not raise aggressive slogans.''
Apart from this, the police also said that the number of people coming to the rally should be limited keeping in view the capacity of the auditorium. The norms laid down by the Supreme Court relating to sound should be fully adhered to.
