Mumbai: Today, on the occasion of Hanuman Janmotsav, Maharashtra Nav Nirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray is going to perform Maha Aarti at the temple in Pune, party officials have given news that. It is reported that Thackeray will perform this puja at the popular Hanuman temple. On the other hand, the Pune unit of the Nationalist Congress Party has also decided to organize 'Sarva Dharma' celebrations. This includes the Hanuman birth anniversary and iftar in the temple.

Raj Thackeray will perform Maha Aarti at Hanuman Mandir on Kumthekar Road. MNS leader Ajay Shinde has claimed that Thackeray was the one who helped in remodeling the temple. Whereas, the ceremony of NCP will be held at Hanuman temple in Karevnagar. Recently, Thackeray had reacted to the azaan being done through loudspeakers from mosques. On Tuesday, he reiterated his demand and warned the government to remove loudspeakers by May 3. He said that he is not going to back down on this issue. He challenged the Shiv Sena government to 'do whatever you want.'

The MNS chief had said, 'Loud speakers in mosques should be switched off by May 3, otherwise we will play Hanuman Chalisa on the speaker. This is a social issue not a religious one. I want to tell the state government that we will not back down on this issue, you can do whatever you want. Apart from this, he had urged PM Narendra Modi to conduct raids in the Muslim areas of Mumbai. He had said that the people living there are 'pro-Pakistan'. He had said, 'I urge Prime Minister Modi to conduct raids in madrasas present in Muslim slums. Supporters of Pakistan live in these slums. Mumbai Police knows what is happening there... Our MLA is using them for vote bank, such people don't even have Aadhar card, but MLAs have got them made.
