Mumbai: A non-bailable warrant has been issued by a Sirala court in Sangli against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray on April 6. The court in its order had directed the Mumbai Police Commissioner to arrest him and produce him before it. Even after this order, the Mumbai Police has not been able to implement the order issued against the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief.

In fact, the Sirala Magistrate's Court in Sangli has issued a non-bailable warrant against Raj Thackeray. The warrant has been issued against him in connection with the case registered against him under 2008, U/S IPC 143, Sections 109, 117 and Section 135 and others of the Bombay Police Act.

Recently, Raj Thackeray tweeted yesterday in which he wrote, "Tomorrow is Eid. I have spoken about it in the House in Sambhajinagar yesterday. This festival of the Muslim community should be celebrated with gaiety. Don't do aarti anywhere on the day of your festival like Akshaya Tritiya, as decided earlier. We don't have to put any hurdles in anyone's festival. The subject of loudspeakers is not religious but social and what exactly we have to do about it, I will tweet tomorrow. That's all for now!''
