Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath had given a statement regarding the labourers on this extreme occasion, after which now the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) National President Raj Thackeray has taken a sharp turn.

MNS chief Raj Thackeray said that CM Yogi Adityanath should also keep in mind that migrants should now seek permission before coming to Maharashtra, along with this Raj Thackeray also made a request to the Uddhav government. He said that the Maharashtra government should make a record of the migrant labourers in the police station, in which their photograph is also printed. Actually, before this, CM Yogi had said that if other states want Majdoor to work here, then for this they will have to get permission from the state government.

CM Yogi had expressed sadness that many states 'did not take proper care' of the migrant workers during the lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus, he said on Sunday that whatever the state wants, U.P. workers will have to come back to them, they will have to take permission from the state government and ensure the social, legal and economic rights of those workers.
