Rajasthan: Tragic death of 6 candidates in road accident going to give REET exam

Jaipur: A major road accident has been reported in Chaksu in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur. Six people have died on the spot in the accident. Six people, including a van driver, were killed in a major accident on the highway near Nimodia Cut in the Chaksu police station area in the wee hours of Saturday. While 5 youths have been injured. All the deceased and injured Rajasthan teachers were reportedly going to appear for the eligibility test (REET).

Police, who arrived after receiving information about the accident, placed the body in the mortuary of the government hospital and admitted the injured to the hospital. Police are investigating the case. The focus is currently on the treatment of the injured. All the youths are said to be residents of different localities of Baran district. All the youths were carrying vans to take the REET exam. As it approached Chaksu, the van went out of control and rammed into the trailer.

The collision was so severe that the van was badly shattered. Six youths, including the driver, were died in the accident in the van. While the other youths in the van were injured. 5 youths are undergoing treatment in MGH hospital in the accident. Police have informed the families of the injured and the deceased. Police are currently investigating the case. The family members of the deceased and the injured have started reaching the hospital after the incident was reported. Police vigil has also been increased in the hospital. There is a wave of grief in the area after the road accident was reported.
