Jaipur: A shocking case of rape of a 12-year-old minor girl by a retired soldier in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan has come to light. The girl, who was released from the clutches of the accused after the incident, narrated the ordeal to her father. The victim said, "Uncle has done wrong to me. On hearing the girl's words, her father lodged a complaint with the police station against the accused, after which he was arrested from his own house.
According to the report, the incident took place in Bagad police station area under Jhunjhunu. The incident took place on Saturday (October 6) when some children from the village were playing outside. The victim was also present along with the children. At the same time, the accused Sultan (60) caught sight of the girl as he left. Before committing the crime, he found out if the girl's parents were at home. When he was convinced that her parents were not at home, he lured the girl to her own house and raped her.
The accused Sultan fled the spot after committing the crime. The victim told this to her neighbours after he left. The neighbours then called her parents who had gone to the farm and informed them about the incident with the girl. The girl's father lodged a designated FIR against the accused at Bagad police station in the case. Police nabbed the accused following the complaint.
