Jaipur: Salman Chishti, the Khadim of Ajmer Dargah in Rajasthan, had announced to give his house to the beheading of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. Now, Syed Sarwar Chishti, secretary of the Dargah Sharif Management Committee of Ajmer, made a statement on several TV channels, saying that he does not support Khadim's statement, but he gave all the modesty when questioned on his provocative statements. He said, 'Am I your father's servant?'

Earlier, Syed Chishti had said, "Today, the Hindu brothers who are taking out a procession in Ajmer city, we had taken out the last Jumei, when there was a mess in the glory of our Prophet. We also have a valid reason for that. We don't insult anyone's gods and goddesses. We had taken out a procession demanding the arrest of Nupur Sharma. What are you taking out a procession on? The procession was taken out in support of Nupur Sharma, but the poster banner was changed at the last moment.'' Syed Sarwar Chishti said, "This means that if someone will be angry in the glory of our prophet and if we demand the arrest, will you show unity with him?"

Syed Chishti even said that Hindus have sprinkled salt on our flames. He said that the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is considered by the whole world, in such a situation, his sentiments have been hurt by this procession. He further said "Today Muslims will not tolerate these things. He also attacked Hindus even when the shops in the market were closed, saying that he was very sorry for the freedom given to them by the administration and these shopkeepers eat at the dargah and close the shops in support of Nupur Sharma.'' He attacked the administration for allowing this procession, even if it was a silent procession. He said that the woman who has slandered in the glory of our prophet, showing solidarity with her against the demand to arrest her has hurt our sentiments.
