Ajmer: The child was reported to have been stolen outside a private school at 5 Sagar Road in Ajmer district of Rajasthan. Anger has increased among the people in the area following reports of child theft from the state. The husband, who was caught as a child thief, tried to raise his hand on the wife, but on notice of uproar, the police seized the husband's wife and his car and brought them to the police station. When he was questioned, the whole case turned into a rumor.

Ganj police station in-charge Jai Singh said that four children studying in the school at Bhai Sagar Road had complained to their family and teachers that for three days a woman was following us and trying to photograph them. After which both the school management and the family rushed to the spot and tried to interrogate the woman but she left.

After which the family members were suspected, the school management chased him and grabbed him at the Anna Sagar outpost. On receiving information, the police reached the spot and took both of them to the post. The child theft was reported as fire and hundreds of people gathered at the checkpoint to watch the mob raging and sent the children and the accused husband's wife to the Ganj police station.
