Jaipur: Upset over the lack of justice, a Dalit girl committed suicide by hanging herself in the case of attempted rape by a landlord in Behror, Alwar, Rajasthan. As soon as the information about the matter was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation. Police have told that the victim's mother was pressurizing the daughter to settle for fear of slander in society. The girl was a resident of Rae Bareli in UP.

Police said that the girl lived with her mother in a rented house in Jenpur Bass of Behror. The house owner Jitu Gurjar had made an attempt to rape, after which the girl complained to the concerned police station. It is alleged by the police that even after four days of registering the case, the accused was not arrested. He was also intimidating and pressurizing the agreement. After the suicide of the victim, the Superintendent of Police has ordered an inquiry into the matter.

Bhiwadi SP Shantanu Kumar told that the deceased had filed a case, but the talks were going on in the deceased's mother and Jitu Gurjar regarding the confession. Meanwhile, the victim committed suicide by hanging herself. Police are investigating the whole matter, whoever is found guilty, strict action will be taken against him. The SP said that the girl had registered a case of attempt to rape. In this case, statements were also to be made under section 164, but before that, the girl gave her life.
