New Delhi: Rajasthan Assembly Speaker CP Joshi has withdrawn the petition related to disqualification of 19 MLAs from the apex court. As soon as the case started hearing in the top court, Kapil Sibal, the lawyer for the speaker, expressed his desire to withdraw the petition. After this, the Supreme Court approved the withdrawal of the petition.

CP Joshi's lawyer Kapil Sibal said in the apex court that now the hearing has started in the Rajasthan High Court challenging the provisions of the 10th schedule. The hearing has moved beyond the issue we had brought up earlier. We will consider and come to the Supreme Court as per the need. The judges gave permission to withdraw the petition. Sibal said, "The High Court passed an order on 24 July in which several cases were raised and we have to consider our legal options."

In fact, on Sunday, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) issued a whip to the six MLAs who left the party to join the Congress last year to vote against the ruling party Congress during the floor test in the assembly. BSP general secretary Satish Chandra Mishra said in a statement that, 'All six MLAs have been given notice by issuing separate notices that since the BSP is a recognized national party and under para four of the tenth schedule of the Constitution, the entire country Without merging the entire party (BSP) everywhere, the party cannot be merged at the state level.
