Barmer: The news of the death of a couple has been stirred up in the village Kitnod under Balotra area of Barmer, Rajasthan. Late in the night, the couple reached the hill far away from home. The boy slit the girl's throat and after that, he also jumped off the hill and ended his life.
After seeing the dead bodies on the hill on Thursday morning, the villagers informed the police over the phone, after which police reached the spot and identified the bodies and reported the matter to the relatives. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, Additional Superintendent of Police Narpat Singh Bhati and DSP Subhash Khoja also reached the spot. After taking information from nearby people in the presence of family members, the police brought the bodies to Balochra Nahata Hospital's mortuary and got the post-mortem done and later handed over the dead bodies to the relatives.
Late in the night, the girl and the boy came out of the house and went to a remote hill, where the police found water bottles, carcasses and muffled shawls, with bloodstains on them. On the basis of this, the police found out that the boy first strangled the girlfriend and jumped off the hill and committed suicide.
