However, according to a report, Due to security reasons, Ashok Meena's mother Urmila waited outside for 40 minutes to enter her own house. According to media reports, on the third day of the yatra in Rajasthan, the Congress had a tea break in Gopalpura in Kota.

Snacks for Rahul and some of the senior leaders accompanying him were arranged at the residence of Ladpura deputy pradhan Ashok Meena. For about 40 minutes, there was a gathering of Congress leaders in that house. During this time Ashok Meena's mother Urmila remained outside. Urmila has informed that she was at her village house. By the time the woman arrive, the security check process had been done. She did not have a pass, due to which she was stopped by the security personnel. So she kept waiting outside.

On the other hand, a Twitter user has demanded an apology from Rahul Gandhi regarding this matter and has given information regarding the problems faced by the woman. In a tweet, he said, ''Will Rahul Gandhi Ji apologize to the lady Urmila Ji, the mother of this Ladpura deputy head, who herself was taking snacks at the woman's house and she was getting upset standing outside because of the security check!''
