Jaipur: A shocking case has been reported from Rajasthan. The bodies of five people of the same family have been found in a well in The Dudu area of Jaipur. The police are considering this sensational incident a suicide. According to the information received in the entire case, the deceased include three sisters, who were married in the same family at a very young age and had two children. It is being told that two women were also pregnant. On May 25, the three sisters had gone out on the pretext of going to the market with their children, but when they did not return home, their family members put up missing posters at different places and lodged complaints.

According to reports, Hemraj Meena, a cousin of the three sisters, alleged, "One of my sisters was badly beaten up by her in-laws. Our sisters have been murdered. On the other hand, it took time for the police to find the body. Police have detained some family members of the in-laws. The deceased have been identified as Kali Devi (27), Mamta Meena (23) and Kamlesh Meena (20). Among the dead were Harshit (4) and a 20-day-old child. Mamta and Kamlesh were pregnant. Talking about the entire matter, Jaipur Rural SP Manish Agarwal said, "One of the three women had also posted a status on WhatsApp that they are upset with their in-laws, so it is better to die. The father of the deceased woman has filed a case against the in-laws alleging continuous harassment for dowry.

It is being told that the three sisters wanted to save their lives by studying hard, although the illiterate husbands of the three used to beat them up under the influence of alcohol. The husband was drunk and squeaky. All of them lived by selling the land of their forefathers and did not do any work. According to the information received, after studying at Maharani College in Jaipur, Kamlesh had taken admission in central university, while her accused husband had studied up to class 5 or 6.

Mamta was selected for the police constable exam, her elder sister Kalu was studying BA final year. Activist Kavita Srivastava of the People's Union for Civil Liberties said that seven people lost their lives as two women were pregnant and died with their unborn children. It is an extremely heinous crime, and the suffering of women is beyond comprehension. She further said that there should be a fair and thorough investigation by a high-ranking officer instead of the local police.
