Jaipur: Pakistan is not desisting from its nefarious acts. When the Indian security forces gave a befitting reply to Pak-sponsored terrorism from everywhere, the Pakistani army got agitated and started firing from across the border. The firing took place between the Border Security Force (BSF) and Pak Rangers late on Friday (December 9) at the India-Pakistan International Border in the Anupgarh sector of Sriganganagar in Rajasthan.

A BSF spokesperson has informed that there is no information about any casualty on the Indian side in this incident. He said that BSF has decided to lodge a protest with its counterparts from across the border and for that, a flag meeting has been called in the Anupgarh sector today. BSF has informed that Pakistani Rangers first fired 6-7 rounds at 2 pm on BSF jawans who were posted in front of the border fence as Kisan guards. Their aim was to protect 5 local farmers working in the fields in their area. He has said that, in retaliation, the BSF 'Kisan Guard' team fired about 18 rounds on the Pak Rangers.

The spokesman has informed that there was no casualty in BSF or farmers in this incident which took place in the Anupgarh sector of the Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan. This is a rare case of firing between the soldiers of both countries on the International Border in Rajasthan. The International Border also passes through Gujarat, Punjab, and Jammu.
