Jaipur: Power is a struggle in Rajasthan. CM Ashok Gehlot and Governor Kalraj Mishra are standing on their respective stands. CM Gehlot wants the assembly session to be convened on Monday so that he can demonstrate his power, while the governor argues that he needs some time to reach a decision.

Meanwhile, till late Friday night, CM Ashok Gehlot continued to have a meeting of his MLAs, and made a serious debate on legal options and political weapons. The challenge before CM Gehlot is to keep his camp united. CM Gehlot is starting to fear that if there is a delay in majority testing, then two or four MLAs may slip from the hands. Therefore, he want to give constitutional recognition to his CM chair by doing a majority test.

The meeting of the Rajasthan Cabinet started at the CM residence in Jaipur at around 10:30 pm on Friday. This cabinet meeting, which lasted till 12:30 pm, had the same agenda of how to save the government. CM Ashok Gehlot now wants to call the assembly session from Monday, but Governor Kalraj Mishra is asking for some time citing the study of the Corona crisis and constitutional provisions. Gehlot said on Friday evening that the governor has come under pressure. They should call assembly session.
