New Delhi: Amid the ongoing political tussle in Rajasthan, CM Ashok Gehlot has once again taken a meeting of Congress Legislature Party (CLP). In this meeting, CM Gehlot has said that for a few days more MLAs will have to stay in the hotel. If sources are to be believed, the MLAs will have to stay at the Fairmont Hotel in Jaipur till August 14, which means that the Legislative Assembly is starting. However, ministers can go to the secretariat to carry out their work.
Many leaders of the state government believe that this fight should be fought politically instead of court. He said that the party's concern is that it will be difficult to keep the MLAs united for so long, but the party will have to take this risk. Apart from this, Governor Mishra has said that before the commencement of the assembly session, full care should be taken of physical distance and floor tests should also be done. Governor also mentions many other conditions. However, earlier on 31 July, CM Gehlot had demanded a session.
CM Gehlot himself has tweeted that PM has spoken to Narendra Modi. He has said that he has also complained to Governor Kalraj Mishra from PM. He has also written a letter to the PM about his concerns.
