Jaipur: Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh resigned last Saturday along with his entire cabinet. His move has taken everyone by surprise and now many people are reacting to it. You all must be aware that Congress is currently in turmoil and after the resignation of Captain Amarinder Singh, who was angry amidst the controversy, there is now a cloud of the political crisis in Punjab. In fact, there is a lot of speculation about who Sonia Gandhi will now elect as the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Amidst all this, senior Congress leader and Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has written a letter to the Captain. In fact, CM Ashok Gehlot in his letter has urged Captain Amarinder Singh not to take any steps that will harm the Congress party.

In the letter, CM Gehlot wrote, "I hope Captain Amarinder Singh will not take any step which will harm the party. He himself had said that the party had kept him CM for nine and a half years. He has served the people of Punjab by working to his full potential. The party command sometimes has to take decisions in the interest of the party on the basis of feedback received from MLAs and common people.'' Captain Amarinder Singh has not responded to the letter so far but his response is awaited by all.
