What is the whole case of Karoli violence?
Violence broke out on April 2, 2022 (Saturday) over the Hindu new year (Gudi Padwa) procession in Karauli. After this, the miscreants had set fire to many shops. In this entire incident, a young man named Pushpendra was seriously injured. There are knife attack marks on his body. Four police personnel were also injured while controlling the miscreants. A total of 43 people were reported injured in media reports. After this, the investigation into the case began and a letter from the Popular Front of India (PFI) surfaced, which indicated that the violence was well planned. Later, the role of Congress leader Matloob Ahmed was also found in the entire violence. Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra had also termed the violence as well-planned. He had said that the manner in which stone pelting was carried out during the Karauli violence proved that it was carried out in a planned manner and could have been prevented.
