Student body found hanging from tree, use to live in a rented room

Dungarpur: Police have identified the dead in connection with the hanging of a young woman's body from a tree at Fatehgarhi under Kotwali police station in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan. The Rajasthan police have identified the dead as Hansa, a resident of Bhanda village. According to information furnished by the police, Hansa, an 18-year-old resident of Bhanda village, was a 12-class student of Maharwal School in Dungarpur city, who was living in the city with a rented room with her younger sister.

On the evening of January 9, Hansa left for somewhere from her rented room, after which Hansa's body was found hanging from a tree on the city's Fatehgarh yesterday. The police put the body in the Morchani of the district hospital yesterday and made a lot of effort to identify it.

Later this morning, the body was recognized as Hansa, a resident of Bhinda village by the police, and informed the family of the deceased about the case.  After receiving the information, the kin reached Morchri, where the police handed over the bodies to the family after the post mortem. The police have registered a case on the family's report and started the investigation.
