ED's biggest action in gold smuggling case, recovered 26 kg of gold

Jaipur: Rajasthan Enforcement Directorate (ED) has found great success in the gold smuggling case. In Jaipur, Chennai and Calcutta, they have exposed big faces buying red smuggled gold. Smuggling gold, silver, foreign and local currency have been recovered from three large jewelery groups of Jaipur. A total of 20 crore properties have been seized.

It has recovered 26.97 kg of gold and jewellery, 12.22 kg of silver and 3.75 crores of foreign and Indian currency. Electronic and digital devices recovered in the raid are expected to reveal many secrets. Rajasthan ED has taken major action and revealed the nexus related to gold smuggling. The ED has revealed the important link by raiding the jewellers on behalf of the gold which was being smuggled from abroad.

Jewellery and cash worth nearly Rs 20 crore have been recovered in raids in Jaipur, Chennai and Kolkata. In Jaipur, Tarachand Soni of Message Maharaja Jewelers, Ram Gopal Soni of Bhagwati Jewelers and Ladiwala Associate have exposed the smuggling gold buyers. Now ED officials have expressed the hope of opening many secrets.
