The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET 2021) began at 10 am today on Sunday, 26th September. Preparations for the same had already been completed at the exam centre in Sikar. The exam is being conducted at 232 exam centres in Sikar district. All the examination centres in the district are being monitored through CCTV by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education and officers are continuously visiting the examination centres.

The Divisional Commissioner has also issued instructions to shut down the internet on the day of examination today. Special police personnel have also been deployed at the examination centres for security. Due to entry of students in the district, Rakhi and other items tied in hand were removed during strict checking. Full-sleeved kurtas of women candidates were cut and earsrings and neck ornaments were also taken off.

Due to the same checking, the hair ribbons of the students were opened. The girl's family got entangled with the police when she cut the clothes of her side at the exam centre of Paudhar Vidyalaya. Even after taking off the slippers, the students started getting entangled with the police. Kotwal Uday Singh reached the spot and calmed the matter down. The police chased away the men who were climbing the walls near Seth Jaydev Jalan Vidyalaya. Some students were forced to come to the same examination centre a few minutes late this morning. When a total of girls reached the examination centre at 9.45 pm at an examination centre in Sikar city, they were not given entry in the examination centre.
