Ajmer: The police will now be more strict against those who create confusion and create tensions in society through fake news. In Ajmer, the police have decided to use social media to counter such reports. It has also decided to take legal action against such miscreants.
Fake news becomes a big problem for law and order. That is why the Rajasthan Police has now decided to counter such false reports. According to Ajmer Superintendent of Police Kunwar Rashdeep, in pursuance of instructions from the police headquarters, the Ajmer police have devised a strategy to stop fake news on social media platforms. The police will now keep a close watch on social media and respond immediately if any fake news comes out.
It has also been decided by the Ajmer Police to identify the perpetrators of fake news and take stringent legal action against them. The social media wing of the Ajmer Police is already in the works, but has now been instructed to be more vigilant.
