Andhra Pradesh became the first state in the country to announce a 75 per cent reservation for local people in its private sector. Another state of the country has joined this episode. The Gehlot government of Rajasthan is also planning to give 70 to 75 per cent reservation in private sector jobs.

Meena said that in the competitive examinations held in Maharashtra, Gujarat and West Bengal, a paper is of the local language. This gives the youth of these three states more opportunities in government jobs than the youth of other states. However, he said that he is not promoting any discrimination.
