Jaipur: Rajasthan's Ashok Gehlot government has made it clear that there is no plan to ban liquor in the state at present. If the government takes this decision, it may incur an annual loss of 13,000 crore rupees. However, the Government has assured that it will continue to earn by drinking good liquor. On the other hand, the government's written reply has come as a major blow to those who launched the liquor ban campaign. Meanwhile, supporters of prohibition have announced to intensify their agitation.

In fact, the Rajasthan Government believes that even though the revenue from alcohol may waver and push some people to ruin, the income from alcohol over this waste can save the lives of many people. Perhaps that is why, despite the day-to-day demand for prohibition, it is not in the mood to ban the sale of liquor. In fact, in a written reply to BJP MLA Madan Dilawar's question in the Rajasthan Assembly, the government said this.

Since the excise department is under chief minister Ashok Gehlot. The reply comes from him stating that the target is to earn 13,000 crore rupees from liquor this financial year. After petrol and diesel, alcohol is the biggest source of income in state tax. In such a situation, she cannot completely ban the sale of liquor, but it will bring high-quality liquor to the people.
