Gujjar reservation: Rajasthan government alerts about agitation, internet shut in many areas

Jaipur: Administration is alert about the Gujjar reservation movement. Considering the possibility of agitation, once again the stir has started in the  Bharatpur. The movement of officers has started here. Collector Nathmal Didel and SP Dr. Amandeep Singh Kapoor will go on tour today. At the same time, internet service has been suspended in many areas of Bayana, Vair, Bhusawar and Karauli.

Along with this, the holidays of officers and employees in the movement affected areas have been cancelled. A ban has also been imposed on officers leaving the headquarters. Officials are constantly trying to contact the Gurjar leaders to know the upcoming strategy. At the same time, consumers are facing problems due to internet stagnation in the area. On the other hand, the state government is trying to persuade the leaders of Gurjar community for talks to stop the movement from November 1, along with it has started taking precautionary steps to maintain law and order.

At the government level, the cabinet sub-committee is trying its best to bring Gurjar leaders to the negotiating table. Gurjar Samaj Sports Minister Ashok Chandna and Medical Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma, who are in the cabinet sub committee, are trying to convince the Gurjar leaders. Under this, on Thursday, Medical Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma had discussed the phone with Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla, Chairman of Gurjar Reservation Struggle Committee, but they have not yet been ready for a formal conversation. Even before this, the cabinet sub committee met in the absence of Gurjar leaders on Thursday.
