Nagaur: Many Bhamashahs donate differently to promote education and make their names immortal in this world. But Purnaram, popularly known as Jagat Mama, a resident of Nagaur district of Rajasthan, devoted his entire life to promoting school education and encouraging students even after being an illiterate person. And, he sold his own 300 bighas of ancestral land and distributed about Rs.4 crores to school children and schools. Such people are rarely seen.

In fact, Purnaram, who distributed about Rs 4 crore as a reward to school students as a reward, is no longer in the world. He passed away two days ago. After his death, people are remembering him not only in Nagaur district but also in the surrounding districts wherever he has gone. Even CM Ashok Gehlot and former CM Vasundhara Raje have paid homage to Jagat Mama while sharing the news on her social media account. There are many talented students from the Nagaur district who have retired or are doing jobs in high positions. They have also received the award from Jagat mama's hand. Jagat Mama Purnaram's jurisdiction was not only in Nagaur district but he also used to go to schools in nearby districts and take out the money kept in his bag and distribute it to the promising students. In addition, he also distributed education materials like copy-books, pens etc. to children.
