There are many people all over the world who initiates good work. One such initiative is that of IAS officer Jitendra Kumar Soni. He took over as Nagaur District Collector of Rajasthan about 1 month ago and today he is in discussions everywhere. Jitendra Kumar started taking such an initiative and people are praising him. He has named his initiative 'Rasta Kholo' campaign.

The aim of this initiative is to connect the rural areas of Rajasthan with the cities. According to this, roads are being built to connect many villages with cities. The roads built are not named after any leader or minister, but are named after the women and girls of the village who have done well in the field of education and sports. This includes Divya Sharma, resident of Kuchera, Nagaur. Divya is a state-level hockey player and she is the topper of 'Kalpana Chawla International School' in the class 10 board exams this year.

Under 'Rasta Kholo', a road has been named after her. She spoke to a  news portal about this and said, "I had no idea that the street would be named after me, but when I got a call that morning, I was very surprised and excited. That day I was also invited to the opening of a new restaurant. During this time I was also honoured by the authorities. Even today many people in the village do not allow their daughters to complete education, but such an initiative may change their thinking. It is indeed a very unique work".
