Jaipur: The panther fell into a 100 feet deep well in Dhani village under Pali district in Rajasthan late on Thursday night in an attempt to hunt a dog in a field. After hearing the sound of the dog barking, the person sleeping in the field woke up and saw the panther crouching in the well. There was also water in the well. By the time the forest department was informed in the morning, 18 hours had passed. The villagers were looking into the well and gambling.

By Friday evening, rescue teams from Jodhpur reached the spot with a network of cages and ropes. The rescue team then slowly lowered the net through large ropes in the well.  When the panther floating in the water saw the net, he sat on the net to save his life. The rescue team then pulled the net up, and the people there started moving away from the well.

As soon as the panther was pulled out, he started roaring. Hearing that roar, people were seen going to a place where they could see the whole story safely concerning their safety. As soon as an attempt was made to put the panther captured in the ropes trap, he was liberated without being stopped by the net. As soon as the Panther became independent, people were seen fleeing saving their lives.
