Jaipur: Police have applied for a fresh probe into the murder of Aspect Khan on Saturday. The application seeks permission for investigation at some points. Pahlu Khan's son had approached the police headquarters to investigate the case. This was followed by a statement by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. In this case, the court now has to determine whether there will be a re-examination or not.

It is worth mentioning here that Khan's murder case in the cow smuggling case in Alwar's Bahraod nearly two years ago had come to the spotlight across the world. The case has once again come up for discussion after the Rajasthan Police filed a charge sheet against Pahlu Khan and his sons. Nearly two years ago, the Rajasthan Police has filed a charge sheet under Sections 5, 6 , 8 and 9 of the RBC against the deceased Khan and his two sons Irshad and Arif, including Tempo driver Khan Mahmood Son Ahmed, in connection with the murder of Aspect Khan.

On April 1, 2017, some of the so-called cow protectors in Bahrod had beaten khan and his two sons on charges of cow smuggling. Aspect Khan was killed in the mob lynching incident. In which trial is going on against the accused. However, some of the accused were acquitted in the CID investigation.
